I live in North East Texas. I was born in Texas and I am proud of my state! I believe that Texas can hold its own in this world. Being that we are basically a Big Brother of the United States of America. We have every thing that we need to survive and to flourish. Speaking for all of my fellow Texans like Me. I Jesse Allison vote YES to seceeding from the Union of the United States of America. Thank You!

Memo: You and Rick Perry are a disgrace for we Veterans & American Public. When I see either one of you on TV commercials, I turn the channel. I've also discussed your poor performance with other GIs. We stick together. It is no good non-caring scum bags such as you 2, who will be a savior for Texas when you're out of office. You 2 have did nothing but ignore me and other Veterans. What goes around, comes around. Someday, you will have to answer to God for your misdeeds and so-called terrible Leadership. Kay Bailey Hutchison & Henry Cuellar are also no good _ _ it like you are too. <First Amendment language.
Kay Bailey Hutchison is a disaster waiting to happen. Seriously, Senator Hutchison single handedly undermined the secure fence act through stealth legislation hidden in the Omnibus Spending legislation. I never thought I'd say this, but compared to those likely to run (unless Kinky wants to take a shot as an independent), Rick Perry (gag) would be the best choice (or at least the least of the evils). Indeed, Texans should focus on driving a stake through the heart of the TTC, and reining in the "business" and "growth at any cost" control of our legislature. Democrats are as "growth goofy" as Republicans, and the potential for "corruption" should they gain even marginal power, far outweighs any value in electing Democrats as a strategy.

Indeed, the recent efforts to pass open carry legislation in Texas might be the best way to go. An armed citizenry is always the best means of moderating legislative abuse and bureaucratic oppression. Besides, given the drug crime and violence spilling across from Juarez, open carry might be prudent as Texans may soon need to defend themselves against both criminals and invaders.

Regardless of who the Dem's might put forth, this is Texas. Kinky Friedman has a good shot as an independent, but failing his taking another whack at it, most likely; a Republican will get it. Kay Bailey Hutchison is dangerously out of touch with Texans, and it remains a contest between her and Rick Perry to see who can sell us out the fastest. Hutchison is responsible for the stealth amendment in last years supplemental funding legislation that hamstrung the secure fence legislation, reduced it's effectiveness, and placed it under control of appointed bureaucrats who aren't accountable to the voters. If there's a business interest to be served, Rick or Kay are there too help!

Dewhurst hasn't stepped out of Perry's shadow and seems content in his role as Republican lickspittle, but between now and November he might manage to grow a pair. Arguably, the Lt. Governor (remember Bob Bullock?) is the most powerful position in Texas Government. The fact that we hear so little of Dewhurst, and so much from the "business go, go, go crowd and their mouthpieces Perry and Hutchison doesn't bode well for our short term interests. Having this TTC thing rammed down our throat, with all the money and corruption its bringing to the state, perhaps its time we consider seceeding and becoming a monarchy. At least that way we only have to get rid of one person and hope that his heir learned from his predecessors mistake!
